The Althorp Partnership of Primary Schools
It is my privilege to welcome you to the Althorp Partnership of Primary Schools’ website. The partnership consists of two, small village primary schools – Harlestone Primary and Brington Primary located on the Althorp Estate near Northampton. The Schools federated in 2011. Federation means that the two schools have a strong commitment to work together for the best of all the children throughout the whole primary age range. The schools share both its leadership and a Governing Body whilst respecting and celebrating the individual ethos of each school.
We are proud of our thriving Partnership where a love of learning is promoted within a safe and happy environment in which every child matters. We believe that working in partnership with parents, carers, governors and our community is essential to ensure our success. A family atmosphere is fostered within which children feel confident to express their individuality, their talents and know that success in any aspect of their lives will be rewarded and celebrated.
We are passionate that the partnership flourishes by providing a positive and stimulating learning environment, we are very fortunate to be located in a rural setting and to have such wonderful school grounds which enhance children’s learning.
We have a great team of talented, caring and dedicated staff who work hard to ensure outstanding progress for all of our children.
We would love you to visit us and to experience the welcoming ethos of our schools. Discover for yourself how our confident and inquisitive children are challenged and nurtured as they develop the skills to equip them for their journey as lifelong learners. Your children are very precious and ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment for learning is our priority.
It is our vision that the children who leave the Althorp Partnership are happy, confident and secure young people, eager to learn and ready for the next steps.
I look forward to meeting you.
