Religious Education

We aim to help the children to develop a responsible attitude towards other people; to foster their sense of wonder at, and reverence for, life. We provide children with an understanding of Christianity and other religions and cultures.
We have strong links with St Mary’s Church in Great Brington and the Baptist Chapel in Long Buckby. The children use these establishments as resources for their studies and ministers from both deliver assemblies on a regular basis.
‘As well as carols for the whole school and those where the congregation joined in singing, each class gave an individual contribution; making a most joyful and moving occasion’. Governor Observation 2006
‘The children gained great understanding about the Jewish Sukkah. It was a well organised session which motivated the children and gave them experience of a different culture / religion’. Headteacher Observation 2006
