Personal Social Health Education

Children are made aware of the need to care for their own bodies through health, exercise, diet and personal habits.

They are instructed in safety in the home and at school, as wells as on the roads. Year 4, 5 and 6 children all undertake St John’s Ambulance First Aid courses.

Family relationships are discussed as a matter of course and children in years 5 and 6 follow a specific course in Sex Education.

Drug Awareness now forms a significant part of our curriculum.

We are also the proud holders of a National Healthy Schools Award.
