Parents’ Views

Stella arrived at Brington Primary feeling slightly apprehensive after a rocky start at her previous school. She rapidly settled in and began to enjoy school again with the help of the staff and other children.
She loves to read, sing and play in the wonderful playing field next door to the school in the summer months. Parents often enjoy a bit of time out on the field after school; it’s a great opportunity to get to know other parents whilst your children are having fun in a safe environment.
Brington is a charming rural primary school with small classes and super teachers. The staff have been very supportive and Barbara Lomas, the school’s headteacher, is an excellent role model.
The headteacher and teachers have made a conscious effort to move forward with the school, taking onboard parents’ comments to benefit the school in the long term as well as maintaining the sensitive touch which has helped towards the children moving onto secondary school.
