by Barbara Lomas Dear Parents and Carers Having gained replies from our proposed Breakfast Club letter, and noticing the number of children who are dropped off into the playground, as early as 8.15am each day, we have decided to go ahead and set up a breakfast club. We will launch the club by inviting you and your children to have breakfast in school on Wednesday 9th June, from 8.30am until 9.30am. There is no charge for this event. The breakfast club staff are Mrs Jayne Batson and Mrs Karen Smith. Both are CRB checked and hold first aid qualifications and have also completed food hygiene training. Children can arrive from 8.00am and will be sent to join their class in the playground at 8.55am. All children need to enter by the Main Entrance door, when arriving for Breakfast Club, so they can be greeted by the staff and marked in the register. During their time in the club, they will be able to take part in various activities and of course, have their breakfast. You can choose for your child to join every day, or a selection of days, on a one off occasion. The cost is £2.50 per day and will be invoiced at the end of each calendar month for immediate payment. In order to book a place, you will need to fill in the booking form, which you will find on our school website. Go to http://www.bringtonprimaryschool.org.uk then link to Breakfast Club, and then booking form. This form then needs to be emailed to Mrs Meakins using .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) It is important that you complete this each week, by the Thursday of the previous week, so that staff can ensure that the correct amount of fresh food is purchased.
