by Barbara Lomas Dear Parents and Carers The Governors and myself interviewed last week, for our vacant teaching post, and I am pleased to say that we have made an appointment. Mr Kevin Marriott will join our staff in September, and will be visiting school during next term to familiarise himself with school routines, etc. The children who worked with him during his interview time were very positive, and we know he will contribute experience and many skills to our team. In September, therefore; Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 i.e. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be taught by Mrs Kirsten Carpenter for three days a week, and Mrs Kate Hunt for two days per week. This ensures continuity for these pupils, as both teachers are known by the children. Key Stage 2 children will be taught by Miss Rachel Rogers and Mr Kevin Marriott. Miss Rachel Rogers will provide pastoral care for Years 3 and 4 and Mr Kevin Marriott for Years 5 and 6. The present staff will be working hard to ensure that the transition to new members of staff is smooth. Kind regards,
