School Meals

The Althorp Partnership of Primary Schools are able to offer hot school lunches cooked in our “Pods” for all children at school.

Under the Governments 'Universal Infant Free School Meal' initiative (UIFSM) all Reception and KS1 children are able to receive this free of charge. Parents of KS2 children are charged £2.25 per meal. (unless they qualify for 'Free school meals - see below)

All meals have to be booked, and paid for where necessary, via the Parentpay website. www.parentpay.com

UIFSM differs from 'Free school meals' which some parents may be eligible for due to being in receipt of certain benefits. If you are eligible for 'Free school meals' please ensure that you still submit your application as this has a positive impact on the schools funding which in turn will benefit your children's education. Please be assured that recipients of 'Free school meals' are not identified in any way.

Children may bring a packed lunch. We do encourage these to be well balanced and healthy.  No nuts, fizzy drinks , chocolate bars or sweets please!
